I make some of Calder clothes and for the most part Jason is on board. They're cute and super cheap and they give me an outlet for creativity which I need. Well, I found this adorable vintage BOY overall outfit. I love it and think it is just so fun. I want to make a few more pairs but Jason is not on board. He think they look girly. So, I'm opening it up for a vote. On the sidebar you'll notice a poll. Please vote. Also, I won't be offended if you think it's girly. If you do think it is girly and can think of a way to 'man it up' please leave me a comment.

As a side note, that is two TVs in our living room. It's hockey playoff time. Enough said.

We have a month left in Chicago so I plan on engaging in Chicago-style politics: vote early and vote often.
Jason, that's awesome. :)
Sorry Cami, I have to agree with Jason on this one. I'm actually not a real fan of overalls in general, but I think with those it's the material. Try maybe one solid color, or blue with pin-stripes or something? That might make it look less girly.
They look adorable and very comfortable. However, in the picture where Calder is sitting it does look like he's got a cute little sundress on. I agree with Danielle about the fabric too.
I agree with Jason. Sorry Cami. I think it's the fabric, the big shoulder straps and the waistline. I've never ever seen an empire waisted boy outfit (and I am pretty much a boy expert :)) Maybe lower the waistline and choose solid or smaller print fabric that have definite boy patterns or colors.
It will be great when you have a little girl.
I personally loved having Lucas wear one piece outfits and I am still squeezing him into them (they pretty much stop making them after 24 months). So I say put him in jumpers as much as you can the first 2 years because there is no other time you will be able to do it. That said the fabric needs to be more masculine and I would probably loose the waist line and make it one fabric. Calder is a very cute little girl though.
