Due to the timing of my brother Cody's wedding reception, Calder and I were in Oregon for Jason's birthday. It turned out to be okay because Jason had a lot of work to do that week. We celebrated when we got home. Jason has had cherry chip cake with cherry frosting for as long as he has chosen his cake. This is not an easy cake mix and frosting set to find. In fact, I couldn't find them in Chicago or Columbus. My mom buys them and sends them to me. Honesty, it's not my favorite kind of cake, but Calder and Jason sure seem to enjoy it.
One of Calder's new words this month: FROSTING.

I LOVE cherry-flavored cake. That's what we had at Kinsley's baby shower :) No one else in my family likes it, but they let me have it occasionally. Happy belated birthday, Jason!
So, you could have totally gotten the cake mix from me. I have 3 in the basement because I use the cherry cake mix for cherry bars I make at Christmas and I always buy them when there is a really good sale. Can't say I've ever had cherry frosting though...
