Today Calder and I went to
COSI or the Center of Science and Industry. We love it and have an annual membership. I plan to take him at least once a week. The greatest part is that we can park at Jason's work and walk a few blocks to it. It's fun to stop by and say hello to Jason on our way to play.

Calder is practicing his lawn mowing for when he visits Oregon.

He is also enjoying this large tractor. Or at least the wheel.

This is Calder's friend Will. His mom Amy and I had a great time chatting while the boys played.

And this is Calder's favorite part of COSI. The water table. He cries every time I take him out of it. I think he could spend hours here. And I love the REI rain jackets that they give you to use.

Wow, that looks great! It's so nice to have a fun place to take your kid. I'm still disappointed with what D.C. has to offer these little ones. I did find one great place, but I'm still disappointed there isn't more.
Such cute pictures. My sister LOVED Cosi when she lived there for 5 years as did her kids. Fun!
Calder is so cute!! I love the rain jacket. Just a little side note, I used my baby sling the other day and Carter said, "Calder's mom has one of those!"
Super cute pictures of calder! Helps when you've got a super cute baby, eh? Anyway, I don't always believe the height measurements from the doctor--according to the pediatrician's stats, Nicholas apparently grew 6.75 inches during his first two weeks of life. I don't think they stretched him out all the way when he was born.
That looks like such a fun place! Owen would also love the water table. Good thing they provide jackets!
That is so great you got to go to COSI! We went too for the first time!
